i love my parents with all my heart and all my soul and i just wish there was some way i could pay
them back for all the good they've done for me.

hmmm.....mine r quite strict i no y they r all fussy abt alot of stuff so i cant actually say i hate them or really like them?................n it's very awkward wen we do family stuff together n they dont get ny jokes.............

My parents were pretty strict while me and my siblings were growing up. Since everyone are adults now; our freedom is given only if we use it wisely. Haha ~ my friends are spooked out everytime they come to my house. My mom's pretty crazy, but i love her. My dad, everyone seems to think he's cool.

I live with my grandparents and they're kinda lenient. But they think they know quite literally everything there is to know and how everything works and their way is the only right way. Even if it's brand new or something they have no idea about. So that really gets on my nerves.

Absolutely cannot go out on school nights.

but actually, i've been a pretty good kid recently.

i think parents have a job in that they should keep their kids under control and most do a good job at it.
it really is the saddest thing when parents abuse their power and make their kids do everything and boss them
around like they are slaves. if you're not prepared to parent your children then why did you have them in the first place?
regardless the majority of parents love their kids and children should remember that. it is after all much better to have
parents that set rules, other than have parents that don't care at all and let you do absolutely whatever you want..

German grandparents are the worst...!

NO going out on weekdays
on weekends curfew is 8pm but on special occasions I can be out untill 11.
And of course, an adult has to be there at all times, they need phones numbers and all that bull shit.
It's just because they don't trust Americans hahahaha. But yeah, if i get anything less than an A, It's hell.
They accuse me of acting like a "lazy american" and they rant and rant and rant.

of course i love them both dearly <3 but holly shit yo. I'm not 12...I'm almost 18 thank god.

They flipppped when they found out I got my motorcycle lisence, but they finaly let me have it, because they knew i would do it any ways, the one cool thing about my parents, is they pay for EVERYTHINGincluding my bike and hella expencive insurence, i don't even need a job, haha.

My parents are jsut too over protective...and they are like "we have a right to be"
ugh...

as little kids, my parents were very strict on us. harsh punishments when we did something bad. we had to make all As or we'd be in trouble. . .and the typical stuff. but now that we're older, they've chilled. my mommy just tells me to try my best, but i'm still thankful for those years of strict parenting or else i'd be a spoiled, stuck up snob probably. -.-

so strict I can't come home on my neighbor's bus even though I only come hom 5 minutes later than usual.
so strict I can barely remember the last time I went out with my friends, much less close family.
so strict that I have no clue what is going on in this world.
so strict that I have to bring it out on here.
I can't even explain everything.

I'm 18 and in college and I have to live at home and I have like a curfew and they call me to check up on me and to see where I am.
Also since I'm a girl they're even more strict in fear that I might come home pregnant one day.
When I was younger, I couldn't sleep over a friend's house if she had an older brother.
That's how strict they are.

well, when I was younger than I am now...my parents were kind of strict by,
I had to get grades above C's or I'd be in trouble.
Can't sleep over at any friend's house unless my mom knows their family.
Has to be home before 8 pm.
No going out in school nights.
No dating allowed.

But now I'm 17 years old, going to be 18 next year...they actually start to be flexiable alot and let me be independent...that's a good thing but I still love my parents so much for giving me what I needed and raising me. I'm actually glad that they were strict so that I'm disciplined in a right way. :]
