Yunho Is Not Pleased With DBSK’s New Japanese Commercial?

DBSK fans got a good look at JaeJoong and Yoochun's heart warming messages yesterday, and already they have another reason to keep their minds off the whole SM dispute fiasco.

A preview for the new Japanese candy commercial starring DBSK has recently surfaced, and the clip was quite hilarious. I'm now officially stoked for the full commercial rumored to be coming out at the end of the month.

Each member of DBSK got to say one word in the introduction of the new candy, but all Yunho got was the left over exclamation mark. Let me tell you, he does not look pleased. In fact, he seemed to be rather angry with his "Eff this!" kungfu kick through the billboard. Poor Yunho is getting the short end of the stick in this commercial, I feel ya bro, happens to me all the time. Like when I was little, everyone else got a present at Christmas except me. So I asked my mom why I didn't get one, and she said that if I kept asking stupid questions, Santa will come and choke me in my sleep. I've been scared of Santa Claus ever since.

ROFL!!! Omgsh..Changmin's "pinky" is so cute!!! Hahaaaaaa.....Sorry it's not related to the drama..but it's related to Yunho.

I really like Oh Gam Ja & Cha Bong Goon pairing, then the original pairing. XD
Posted at 12:22 AM on Sep. 17, 2009
I wasn't that much hooked, for some reason the pairings don't have much effect on me.

Yunho And Ara Wishes Everyone A Happy Chuseok

MBC drama 'Heading To The Ground' leads Jung Yunho of DBSK/TVXQ and Go Ara fancied themselves up into traditional Korean apparel and wished everyone a happy Chuseok, a major three-day harvest festival and holiday celebrated in the autumn every eighth months of the lunar calendar.

Heading’s abrupt story changes prompt viewer complaints

Viewers are apparently unhappy with the recent events of MBC’s Heading to the Ground The drama is now halfway through, and despite the soccer theme, the story shifted abruptly in Episode 5 to center around a mental ward, after Bong-kun (Yunho) suffered an accident. He had been saving Hae-bin (Go Ara) from falling into the Han River, and ended up in the hospital with amnesia.

This week, he finally recovered his memory and escaped the hospital, where a fire had broken out. He risked himself to rescue a fellow patient who had been a support to him during his stay.

As a result, viewers are voicing their complaints about the drama’s choppy plotting and the lack of connection to the previous story. Some point out that the story of Bong-kun being locked up in the hospital dragged on too long (”The Bong-kun who dreams of soccer disappeared, and we got a Bong-kun who dreams of escaping a mental hospital… it’s so improbable”).

Another comment complained, “I thought we were getting a soccer drama but that wasn’t it, then I thought it was a romance drama but that wasn’t it, then it turned into a One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest or Papillon drama, but finally it turns out that it’s a fantasy drama where you hit the wall once and the hospital collapses.”

Of course there are some who defend the latest storyline, saying it was touching to see Bong-kun saving his fellow patient-captive and showing some maturity in overcoming adversity. Unfortunately for the drama, it’s still languishing in the bottom of the Wednesday-Thursday ratings; its last episode pulled in a 5.1% against Swallow the Sun’s 18.8% finale and My Fair Lady’s 14.1%. Perhaps they’ll do better since one of those is now over and SBS’s new drama You’re Beautiful kicks in next week.

Heading to the Ground will end Early on the 5th Next Month

MBC Drama Series “Heading To The Ground” will take its early ending bell on the 5th next month.

Initially “Heading To The Ground” is agreed to have 20 episodes broadcast time, however it will be cut to only 18 episodes instead.

MBC official on the 14th said “Due to the poor audience rating record, “Heading To The Ground” will be ended early on the 5th next month.” he added, “while as the consequence, Lee Junki’s drama “Heroes” will air a week early on the 11th.”

“Heading To The Ground” is not the first MBC drama whose episodes are cut due to the painful single digit rating.

Meanwhile “Heroes” will have Lee Jun Ki and Kim Min-jung as its main casts .

Despite having our most charismatic leader, the drama is quite a failure. I'm not really into the sport enthusiasm and I wasn't attracted by the storyline either, I dropped it after 2nd episode, but aja aja Yunho oppa!

Jung Yunho - Filming Stops Due to Fainting on Set

It has been belatedly revealed that actor Jung Yunho fainted during a shooting.

On the 12th, Jung Yunho's facial muscles contracted during the shooting and he was rushed to the hospital.

On the 15th, one official from 'Heading To The Ground' told Money Today Star News that, "As we approached the 70% mark of the drama's filming, it became apparent that stamina plays a big part."

The official also said that Jung Yunho, despite being told to rest up after treatment at the hospital, returned to shooting the drama on the 13th. The official went on to say that on top of the weeks of all-night shootings and the stress of the lead role, the controversy of his acting and the mental stress weighed down on Jung Yunho's state/condition.

On the other hand, BongGoon (Jung Yunho) and SeungWoo's (Lee SangYoon) conflict in 'Heading To The Ground' is making things interesting.

Hayden's Personal Review
Well, I finally finished that drama....0_0 I will personally give my feedback on it...WARNING: SPOILERS

I'm not a soccer fan at all, but since I love Yunho, I stuck through the whole drama. Yes, it sucks. I wouldn't say it was the worst drama ever...If you guys haven't watched Dream yet, you have no idea what a bad drama is.

Plot Summary: Basically, Bong Goon (Yunho) is a soccer player. He has no living blood relatives, but has a adorable little sister named Byul. She has some sort of cancer so her health is poor. Yeon Yi is Bong Goon's best friend, who secretly has a thing for him. They even kissed when she saved him from drowning. Dong Ho is Yeon Yi's secret admirer and looks at Bong Goon as a rival in both love and soccer. Hae Bin is Bong Goon's future agent who hates her father for remarrying so quickly after her mother's death. Seung Woo is Hae Bin's boyfriend who is also Bong Goon's enemy. He blamed Bong Goon for a hit-and-run accident which sent him to jail. Bong Goon goes through a lot of ups and downs while trying to be a soccer player. Seung Woo carefully set up scandals to mess up Bong Goon's career. Hae Bin is attacked by one of Seung Woo's enemy and nearly dies. But Bong Goon rescues her and ends up losing his memory. He gets sent to a mental hospital without anyone knowing. He befriends an old lady who eventually lives with him after he is rescued by Hae Bin. Bong Goon goes through more scandals that Seung Woo helped create for him. Hae Bin is still unaware of how evil her boyfriend is. Dong Ho confesses to Yeon Yi his true feelings, but ends up rejected. Yeon Yi confesses to Bong Goon, but is also rejected. During a soccer match, Bong Goon accidentally knocks down Dong Ho lands on his knee the wrong way. He ends up having to give up his career as a soccer player. This makes Bong Goon look bad. However, this ended the rivalry between Dong Ho and Bong Goon. Dong Ho forgives him and supports him. Bong Goon confesses his feelings to Hae Bin and gives her a romantic kiss. She treats it as a mistake and rejects him. Seung Woo proposes to Hae Bin, but is rejected. This drives him to want to destroy Bong Goon even more. Hae Bin becomes suspicious of Seung Woo after Yeon Yi told her about the evil deeds he did to Bong Goon. Bong Goon refuses to tell Hae Bin about what really happened. Hae Bin looks it up both men's records to figure out what happened. Seung Woo witnesses Hae Bin hugging Bong Goon passionately. He becomes nuts. He is seen pounding things in anger. He becomes a heavy drinker and invites Bong Goon to his office. He beats Bong Goon up to a pulp, but Hae Bin walks in on them. Not realizing she was there, Seung Woo continues beating and confessing that he was at fault for the accident and not Bong Goon. Then he shouts that no one would believe Bong Goon if he told anyone. Hae Bin speaks up and announces that she believes and trusts him. Seung Woo freaks out and tries to cover it up with lies, but they don't work. He calls Hae Bin to meet up to talk. As he tries to explain, Hae Bin tosses a necklace he gave her into his hand. She walks out leaving him alone. Bong Goon has a soccer match. At the end, he is seen walking with Hae Bin like a couple. THE END.

The ending sucked. They should've at least kissed again right?? Some of the scenes were funny like Bong Goon's stupid faces. I found Byul extremely adorable. She was very mature for her age which I found surprising.

Highlights:
  • Topless Yunho
  • Yunho feeding Byul (CUTE~)
  • Yunho and Maxim interactions. Maxim is a soccer player from U.K who speaks no English. It's hilarious watching him and Yunho communicate. Yunho speaks broken English that is so cute!
