i recommend Bel Canto by Anne Patchett.
its one of the best books i have ever read. very touching story, it really shows that love can come from any situation.

Battle Royale... finished the book a little while back, its sooo good and damn interesting and well detailed. way better than the movie. the movie misses out on a lot of things i think.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. I love them (:
